Service Description
Get more comfortable and confident in your sewing skills while you make a practical and unique shopping tote. In this single session workshop, sewing machine set-up will be reviewed to get you back in the groove. We will cut and assemble our shopping tote, cleanly constructed using French seams with matching fabric handles. This beautifully made bag is unlined and lightweight- the perfect compact companion for taking along while you shop. This workshop is a great follow-up for those who have taken Sewing Machine Basics. Tote measures approximately 13 x 15” with 14” long handles. To make this project, please bring: -0.5m quilting cotton -Fabric scissors -Straight pins (and a small box or tin for pin storage) -Pencil Join us and take your sewing journey to the next level with expert instruction and a small class size! Bookings are non-refundable so please make sure you're available prior to booking! Bookings can be transferred to another person before class start date. The classroom is located upstairs above the Sewing Machine Sales & Repair Centre. Please note The Sewing School is accessible by stairs only. Starting date of class is dependent upon required number of students (6). Should minimum student enrollment not be met, class dates may be changed and students will be informed ahead of time. Cancellations will not be accepted within 10 days of class starting date. NO MAKEUP CLASSES ARE GIVEN SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE AVAILABLE BEFORE REGISTERING FOR A CLASS! Thank you and Happy Sewing!
