Learn Your Machine Workshop

Service Description

This is the sewing class for you to finally learn the ins and outs of your sewing machine. Bring your own machine and learn how to thread it, wind a bobbin, finally learn what all those dials and buttons do and get the most out of your machine. Beginners and intermediate sewists alike are welcome. During this 3 hour workshop, our sewists will work with Toronto Sewing Co. owner Daniela and learn how to use their own sewing machine. Students will get personalized guidance about their specific machine and cover all the bases. This is your chance to finally understand, feel confident with, and truly master your sewing machine. You will be required to bring your sewing machine, power cord, foot control and manual (if available) to this class. You're welcome to bring the different presser feet that came with your machine as well. You'll learn to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, select stitches, set stitch length and width, balance tension and more. By the end of this workshop you'll be sewing on your machine with confidence! Join us to get your sewing journey started with expert instruction and a small class size! Bookings are non-refundable so please make sure you're available prior to booking! Bookings can be transferred to another person before class start date.
